Community Crisis and Disaster Response

The Trillium Community Crisis and Disaster Response team helps communities prepare for natural disasters, public health emergencies, or behavioral health crises.

Trillium will provide disaster or emergency-related care coordination for high-risk members who are obtaining care management (e.g., high-risk pregnant women, dialysis patients, medically frail, hemophiliacs, long-term care population, individuals receiving Medication Assisted Treatment) before, during, and after states of emergencies.

In the event of an emergency or disaster declaration, Trillium will make sure members can get an emergency supply of medications. Certain members will also be able to get the maximum extended day supply of their prescriptions. Your care manager will share more information with you about this.

In a behavioral health emergency, you can call our Behavioral Health Crisis Line at 1-888-302-0738 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Trained, licensed clinicians are available at all times to talk with you.

Crisis Continuum Plan and Services

Trillium’s Crisis and Recovery Continuum is a robust network of services provided by Trillium for immediate support, stabilization, and ongoing recovery for individuals with behavioral health, traumatic brain injury and intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) experiencing a crisis across our covered counties in North Carolina.

These documents highlight how these integrated services offer a seamless and effective pathway to healing and well-being, diverting individuals from unnecessary emergency department visits or inpatient hospitalizations.
