Trillium offers specialized trainings for law enforcement, community agencies, and organizations who serve similar populations as Trillium. Through education and knowledge, we can all help strengthen the foundations of well-being and improve health outcomes in our communities.

About This Training:
The Community Crisis Intervention (CCI) training equips participants with the essential knowledge, practical tools, and confidence to recognize, respond to, and support individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Emphasizing early intervention, verbal de-escalation techniques, and effective connection to appropriate resources, this training is designed to strengthen community response systems and foster safer, more compassionate interactions across diverse environments.
Tailored to the unique needs, challenges, and dynamics of each agency or community it serves, CCI ensures relevant, real-world application. Whether in law enforcement, healthcare, education, or social services, the training promotes a collaborative, trauma-informed approach to crisis response that enhances both individual outcomes and community well-being.

About This Training:
The Community Resiliency Model Training (CRM)® is a skills-based wellness approach designed to help individuals understand and manage the impact of stress and trauma on the body and mind. Grounded in neuroscience, CRM® teaches simple, evidence-informed techniques that restore balance to the nervous system and build resilience. This training empowers participants to not only apply these tools in their own lives but also share them within their communities to promote collective well-being and healing. About This Training:
The criminal justice system frequently engages individuals who have experienced significant trauma - from early adversity to systemic and community-based violence. Without a trauma-informed lens, responses can unintentionally escalate situations or reinforce harm.
This training introduces the core concepts of trauma and its impact on brain development, behavior, and communication. Participants will explore how trauma shapes interactions with law enforcement, courts, and corrections, and how adopting trauma-informed practices can lead to safer, more respectful, and effective outcomes.
Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, participants will learn how to shift from a punitive mindset to one that promotes understanding, healing, and accountability—benefiting both individuals and the justice system as a whole.

About the Training
This training helps participants understand how Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) can create lasting housing stability for people who have experienced homelessness and have behavioral health needs. The training focuses on practical tools and strategies that support recovery, independence, and community connection.
What You’ll Learn:
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Explain what Permanent Supportive Housing is and why it works.
- Understand how safe, stable housing supports recovery and well-being.
- Identify the key parts of effective housing and case management.
- Learn how to work with community and behavioral health partners to support tenants.
- Use harm reduction and trauma-informed care to promote housing stability.
- Encourage tenant choice, empowerment, and self-sufficiency.
Who Should Attend:
This training is for behavioral health staff, housing specialists, case managers, peer support workers, and community program leaders who help people find or maintain housing. This training is only open to TMS, ACT, and CST providers.
Training Details:
- Duration: 2 ½ days
- Format: Live, instructor-led virtual sessions featuring interactive presentations, group discussions, and real-life examples.
- Certificate: Participants who complete the full training will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

QPR’s goal is to prevent suicide and save lives by teaching practical, effective, and easy-to-use skills that anyone can learn. Every day, people around us may be struggling or showing signs of crisis. Through education and awareness, we can all be better prepared to notice those signs and take action. No matter your background or experience, you have the power to make a difference in someone’s life.
What is a QPR Gatekeeper?
A Gatekeeper is someone who can recognize when a person may be in crisis or thinking about suicide and knows how to help. Gatekeepers can be anyone, including:
Parents
- Teachers
- Faith leaders
- Youth and students
- Doctors and nurses
- First responders
- Mental health professionals
- And YOU!
What You’ll Learn:
During the QPR Training, participants will learn how to:
- Recognize the warning signs that someone may be thinking about suicide
- Understand common reasons people experience suicidal thoughts
- Ask direct, caring questions and start supportive conversations
- Offer hope and connect individuals to local or national help
- Reduce the stigma around talking about suicide
- Understand their role as a Gatekeeper who can help save lives
Training Details:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Format: Live and instructor-led, offered in-person or virtually. The session includes group discussions, real-life examples, and time for questions.
- Certification: Participants will earn a QPR Gatekeeper Certificate, valid for three years, issued by the QPR Institute.
About This Training
First responders operate in high-stake, high-stress environments where exposure to trauma, critical incidents, and cumulative stress is part of the job. While these professionals are trained to protect and serve others, they often face barriers to addressing their own mental health needs. The Responder Strong Mental Health Curriculum was developed by and for responders to break down stigma, build resilience, and promote a culture of wellness within emergency services.
This training provides a comprehensive overview of mental health challenges common in responder roles, including burnout, compassion fatigue, and post-traumatic stress. It emphasizes the importance of early intervention, peer support, and leadership engagement in creating psychologically safe workplaces. Participants will walk away with practical tools to support their own well-being and that of their colleagues, fostering stronger teams and healthier communities.

Verbal De-escalation for Community Partners focuses on practical, real-world communication strategies to reduce tension, prevent escalation, and support positive outcomes. Through guided instruction, discussion, and scenario-based examples, participants learn to assess situations quickly, maintain personal safety, and apply verbal and non-verbal techniques to defuse potentially volatile encounters.
