About the NC ROOTS Advisory Board

The NC ROOTS Region 5 Advisory Board is being established to provide guidance for the NC ROOTS Hub Action Plan for Region 5.

The Advisory Board consists of twenty-one (21) members and is designed to represent diverse communities, sectors, and lived experiences across Region 5.

The Advisory Board has a vital role in guiding equitable, community-driven outcomes to support the implementation, sustainability, and long-term success of NC ROOTS initiatives throughout Region 5. 

Who Should Apply

We encourage applications from leaders across all sectors who are committed to strengthening rural communities, improving health equity, and access to whole-person care in Region 5. 

Applicants should have: 

  • Active engagement with communities, organizations, or individuals served in Region 5.
  • Leadership experience in your sector or field.
  • A commitment to collaboration, equity, and community-driven solutions.
  • Willingness to participate in regular advisory board meetings and activities.
