Trillium providing funds for adult and child behavioral health urgent care facility
$3.8M will establish facility operated by Integrated Family Services in Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. – As part of North Carolina’s historic $835,000,000 investment in behavioral health, Trillium Health Resources is partnering with Integrated Family Services (IFS) to open a new adult and child behavioral health urgent care facility (BHUC). This facility will serve individuals and families regardless of county of residence or payor, and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The BHUC will serve individuals presenting with any diagnoses, including mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, or traumatic brain injury.

“Trillium is proud to stand with our partners to continue to improve access for adults and children in the community who may be experiencing a behavioral health crisis. We are grateful to NC DHHS and the NC General Assembly for making this investment possible in our community. This facility will make a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals and families who otherwise would have nowhere to turn in their time of need,” said Joy Futrell, CEO of Trillium Health Resources.

“The Behavioral Health Urgent Care represents a pivotal step forward for our community — a place where individuals can find help, hope, and stability 24 hours a day. This center was built on partnership and purpose: to ensure no one in crisis has to face it alone. We’re deeply grateful to Trillium Health Resources, our local leaders, and our incredible team for helping turn this vision into reality,” said Natasha Holley, CEO of Integrated Family Services.

The facility will officially open on Monday, October 27 at 3005 Stantonsburg Road in Greenville. IFS and Trillium hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 20 for media and invited guests followed by an open house which was open to the public.

Trillium appreciates valuable partners like IFS to help us achieve our goals to help everyone in our communities to reach their potential.
